Zdenek Jan Blabla, (aka "Hans" Or "Hans Alpine") male, USA citizen born in Czechoslovakia.

I am the original importer of Czech border patrol dogs (z Pohranicni straze) into USA. I am the founder of AlpineK9 and co-founder of JINOPO with Colonel Ing Jiri Novotny Former Czechoslovak border patrol trainer and breeding director. I bred and trained these dogs from the early 1980ties in the USA. At first, I learned about dog training In Czechoslovakia.

I was also instrumental in registering these dogs in the USA with AKC.

I also was instrumental in ending the embargo and renewing shipping dogs to the USA after of 9/11 bombing

I have been involved in the training of obedience, behavior modification, K9 problem solving of any kind involving obedience, bite work, tracking, and detection, for law enforcement, private security, and private detection companies. I have been involved in such training since I was 14 yo.

I have worked closely with and provided trained dogs for private security companies and for law enforcement all over the USA and internationally.

At least 36 dogs trained and provided by me served in Iraq with private security contractors as explosives detection dogs.

I have advised to many dual-purpose dog handlers on how to solve their training problems in detection and protection and tracking. I have developed and manufactured new equipment for detection training and developed innovative detection training programs.

I have imported (and trained) and provided the first Czech dogs into the USA, for Law enforcement, private citizens, and security agencies with GSD world-famous, Czech border patrol dogs starting in 1981. I have trained closely with trainers in Europe namely in the Czech Republic and Czech Border Patrol trainers in all aspects of Law enforcement dogs. I have also trained dogs for major kennels where I have trained hundreds of dogs. Shiloh Shepherds, Kimbertal kennels, and Sun Valley kennels where I have also trained several money detection dogs. I have also had successful dog training, breeding, and importing businesses. I have provided well over 100 trained or partially trained ( green) dogs for AZDOC for many years.

I have been involved in the sport of IPO and Schutzhund which involves tracking and PSA where I was second in open classy in Nationals in 2005.

I have worked approximately for 8 years in odor detection (S&R) as the founder of the S&R group in Jackson Hole Search Dogs (Wyoming) in the 1980ies where the dogs are used and trained as tracking, trailing, and air scenting dogs. I was involved in S&R approximately for at least 8 years and still consult upon request.

I myself have also trained and handled 2 avalanche dogs Timber and Lady for 4.5 years for CGG oil exploration company where part of my job was avalanche control - shooting avalanches with explosives. These dogs were trained in human detection if buried in an avalanche.

Based on my extensive experience I have developed and perfected unique protection and detection dog training programs.

I have been a dog trainer instructor for people who now have successful kennels and dog training businesses and have trained many dog trainers and helped start breeding programs by guidance and with matched pairs of breeding dogs.

I have provided consultations and training advice to trainers in LE, and security training of dogs continuously for at least 30 years to today date.

I have also written extensively and made videos on how to diminish Hip dysplasia and I with Tena Barber have developed LMX (Littermate x-rayd program ) which if implemented will improve hips.

I have worked with 5 hospitals Phoenix Children Hospital, Saint Joseph Phoenix, and Chandler Memorial Hospital Part of Dignity Inc. as a protection trainer and explosive detection trainer, and building a search and detection trainer where I trained the dog which I have personally trained and provided and I also train their handlers. In the more distant past, I started a similar program with Scottsdale Heath care and Maryvale Hospital and provided security dogs to Tucson healthcare

On a few occasions, I have provided money detection dog service to US Customs. I also have trained gun detection dog to Yuma PD and provided them with several other LE dogs

I have also worked and trained with and provided dogs for protection tracking and detection for LE in Georgia and Gwinnett County and elsewhere.

I have testified in court as an expert witness.

I have also trained treasure (currency) detection dogs for private entities.

Besides many other things, this hands-on training of a large number of these detection and S&R dogs gave me decades of practical experience and the ability to "read" the signals a detection dog is giving and I can readily determine if and when the dog is "in odor" as he alerts on airscent and subsequently indicates the source of such odor.

Recently - now for several years I am involved as a trainer and owner of a dog training club. I have literally trained hundreds of Personal protection dogs. And I have conducted several dog training seminars in USA and Puerto Rico.
